School

After spending the majority of this month sick. I finally had enough energy to get my 3rd lesson read in biology (there is 5 total) took my test yesterday and got a 100% yeahhhh.. I got 92's on the last 2 tests was bugging me. Now to get the next 220 pages read of the next lesson. 14 chapters here I come. My stupid GPA is down to a 97% because of my 2 92's sigh... Oh well I've got lots more tests to bring it up as high as I can. Fingers crossed for 100% across the board. Then I might stress LESS over finals... Which I hear All but math are essay style (SCARY). I suck at essays SUCK HORRIBLY. It is my greatest fear.. hence my determination to get as high of grades as possible on my reg tests as they are 2/3rd my final grade (Finals being 1/3). OK Off to do laundry then hopefully read a chapter or 2 depending on how big they are. (Some just 5 or 6 pages some are 40 lol) with lotsa tests inbetween.. OK Bye for now!!!! ohohoh friday is Evans last day of school till April 10th.. So hopefully I can get alot of reading done. I am hoping to go volunteer this sat at the shelters adoption if Kenny has the day off. (99% sure he does) I will finally get to help!

My oh so fun night

I am SURE you hear the sarcasm dripping from my voice uhm typing in the title. Had a pretty good day Kenny was off work had friends coming over for dinner (the big bushes are now completely OUT of my front yard and it look like crap but I love it. Can't wait to get planting) Had a play date at a friends house.. Was just a nice day all around... And then after dinner it is about 8:45 PM. We are walking our friends out to the door. When all of a sudden from behind us we hear THUD ... SCREAM .. We all turn around and Kenny goes around the Bfast bar (where Cay is screaming) and Cay comes barreling around the corner towards me. I hear Kenny say he wants his mommy. I bend over n hug him glance up at Kenny who has stopped dead in his tracks staring at Cay right as he says WAIT! he is bleeding! I push back look at Cays face nose mouth lips chin the usual suspects from thuds and blood. As Kenny rushes over saying no the back. I spin Cay around and there's blood running down his head onto his shirt. AAAK! I slap my hand over the cut and push it there why our friend hands me a towel we get that on it. Kenny takes a peek as I say we gotta take him in. Kenny says yup he will need stitches. I glance up at my friend soo uhmm can you stay a little bit?? Of course she could. THANK YOU LYNN!!! We get our shoes on all why I am holding the towel on his head (Yes I AM good) Send Evan to bed (No Evan you can't wait up for us) tell Jarod Cay will be fine! Tell Kiara she will be fine! (LOL) Go out to the car where I yank the seat next to Cay's out and plunk myself in next to him to hold the rag on. (BTW I looked RATHER funny way back in the 3rd row head touching the roof knees bent. When we got to urgent care it had slowed to a oozing of blood. UC closes at 10 we got there at 905. You could tell they wanted us to go to the ER so they could leave at 10 on the dot. I was NOT sitting in a ER for 3 hours while my sons head was bleeding! And there's a 100 ER copay! NO TY. Anyway once they realized it wasn't just a bump on his head that he was bleeding they got him in back while I checked him in trying to keep the dried blood on hands off all there stuff. They got him all cleaned up shaved his head around the cut and gave him 3 stitches. And he DID NOT CRY AT ALL! My big boy.. He is trying to kill me before I hit 30 though. He is my danger child the one who gets ALL the firsts for owies. First Xray First cast First stitches.. sigh .. Well Jarod had first surgery but that wasn't an owie. Took him in this am to reg dr to just get him checked over good .. They only cleaned n stitched him at the UC didn't even check his pupils! He is fine no worries. =) Here are some pics we took.
At UC with the cream to numb the skin so when they injected the lidocain it wouldn't hurt.

The stitches this morning in the light O day. The cut is almost an inch long!
He goes back tom to UC for a check then next Wednesday to get the stitches out. That should be fun.

Here there and EVERYWHERE

WELL it has been a busy few weeks!We did a bunch of yard work. We sanded the front door down painted the entry closet doors and the pocket to the laundry room. Oh and I painted the garage door to the backyard.................... There's more...

I went last night to a 2 1/2 hour training meeting to volunteer at the canine rescue here. There was a little girl there, 10 years old (5th Grader), a few of us were discussing spring break dates and I said my sons is the first week of April. The little girl then made my year. She looked at me and said you have kids!?! You look like you should only be in high school! I then smiled (more likely it was a huge goofy goober grin) told her my oldest was in 3rd grade and that she had just made my day! I told her mom I loved her and was taking her home with me as she is good for my self esteem. LOL Whoda thunk we would one day be THRILLED to hear we look like a kid.

Kenny has home shows the next few weekends so we won't be seeing much of him. Should be fun attempting church alone with the kiddos. Maybe we will go to Lowes and get the plants for my garden and do that this weekend while Kenny's at the shows.

I can't WAIT to do the front yard. One of our friends offered to help us dig up the bushes if he could have them. YIPPEEEEEEE!!! Have at em! Don't get me wrong I think they are beautiful bushes. Just not in my yard where they are. They are set at strange angles to each other and my house. They sit about 4 feet from my bay windows (blocking it I might add) with nothing between but weeds. They are the perfect hiding spot for burglars and other icky people. I can't stand them. I strongly desire to go out with a shovel and start digging. But I will wait as usual. LOL

Kiara was up till 4AM last night. I am a zombie today. Plus I have had a horrible sinus headache for the last 13 days. So far pain meds only help for like 30 minutes then it comes back. I am once again off the pill. No visit so theyare trying tofigure out what is going on. NO I am NOT preg. So get that out your minds. I pee'd on a stick and visited the vampires. NEGATIVE. I have a feeling they are going to wait till I get my period then give me a diff pill. I am thinking that maybe after 4 kids and 7 pregnancies my body has changed. It just no longer can handle the pill. No idea what I will do if thats right. I'd rather not have major surgery again. But you know. I prob will end up having to get myself fixed. Well hey 6-8 weeks of no chores no lifting no anything sounds kinda nice.... as if that would EVER happen HA!

Have so much more to do on our list. The front yard the back yard my garden needs planted for the year. Oh 1 of my crepe myrtles survived the freezes. I am pretty sure the other is dead as a doornail. We also still need to do the floor tiles (entry kitchen dining laundry and bar areas. Get new countertops put in. We are leaning towards slab granite right now. It is SO beautiful. Paint the boys rooms. Make Evans bed. New lighting fixtures in the dining entry and bathrooms. We want to replace our bedroom closet doors. Paint the boys closet doors. I am going to put magnetic paint on the bottom of their doors too. Oh you know what would be an AWESOME birthday/mothers day gift! Having a piano in my living room. That would be great. Ya know before their is new tile in the entry and no chance of it EVER coming across them. Still need to get stuff on the walls they are SO bare. We are looking at patio furniture too. We can't find a table we like that comes stand alone (always in sets man). Wicker couch/coffee sets are expensive! We are looking at something cozy like that for the front porch we are going to put in.

Evan is doing wonderful in school. Jarod's speech is greatly improved. Caylum is a dancing machine. Did I tell you he wants a disco ball in his bedroom! Kiara is a girl, a princess, and the pea. LMAO If it is pink she screams points and hollers MINE! I now have ALL the kids birth certificates pitb that was and can register Jarod for K next month! YEAH! I am chugging along in my studies. Almost ready to take my 3rd Biology exam. (there are 5 total) When I finish my 3rd they send outmy next shipment Animal A&P and my proctor paperwork. I am VERY nervous about proctors. What if I don't find anyone willing to give up an entire day a semester to wander around near me while I take 7 hours of tests! Which I prob won't do good on as most are essay and I SUCK at the whole essay thing. Uhmmm I guess thats it for now. I am sure there is more I wanted to say but I am brain dead and can't remember. Anyway you get the idea. We aredebating taking the pale blue/green color we have on the far wall and putting it on the trim of the pocket door to just kinda break up the white. Ok I have written a book. BYE!

So PROUD

I could BURST!!!! My mr. Man.. Evan got his report card and it was AWESOME!!!! I am SO proud of him. His grades were spectacular. He got 4's!! schools HATE togive out 4's but they had to! HE ROCKS! he did EXCELLENT! He is so awesome we have to think of something special for him because he did so great. What could it be... who knows! lol I can't say any ideas we may or may not have because he is now reading what I am typing. and grinning at me lol. ANYWAY I just HAD To say HOW awesome he is and how great he did! he can read 164 WPM fluently. That is ALOT of words man! Im not excited or anything lol I am EXSTATIC!!! WAY TO GO EVAN> WE ARE SOOOOOOOO VERY VERY VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
