We watched Penelope last night. It was a very cute movie. I liked it alot. I don't recall any bad words popping out at me. I quite enjoyed it. I don't think younger kids would be interested in it. Not childish enough they wouldnt get it. But i could see teenage and pre teen girls loving it too.

So I was sitting here today and C starts reading a word over my shoulder. So I take a paper and write a simple sentence on it. Caylum is a good boy. I ask him to read it to me and he says. Caylum is a good boy. Huh I think. So I continue writing random sentences and he continues to read them to me. He had issues with a few words like note. He said notE with a e sound and math he said matH with a h sound. Its hard figuring out the blended sounds and that dang silent E and long vowels. But other then that the boy can read. When Kenny got home I handed him a pen and paper and said write a sentence any sentence using easish words. He wrote The dog is blue. And i handed the paper to cay and said whats that say. The dog is blue. He is scarily smart man. FREAKIN me out! How am I suppose to help him with homework when he is older! He will be in 4th grade doing calculus lol.

is on her way to crawling. The little turd. =) She can roll and roll and roll o her hearts content. She has started to scootch backwards in her attempt to scootch forwards. Sigh. Every now and then she manages a scootch forward though. The girl will be crawling before I know it! I wonder when K started crawling. Going to have ta go look it up.
ETA: I went and looked and found this post of K when she started going in the wrong direction. She was a week or 2 older then L is but L doesnt quite get her tummy up like K did in those pics. So she seems right on track with K. Then in my looking way back then I came across this post which made me laugh again.

Here are some pics of cay at his K readiness class. He loves it. The teacher came up n told me how great he is. That he is "very exuberant" but knows when to calm down. She told me he has a lot of knowledge and can tell i worked with him alot.. I laughed and said not really, he is self taught. He is just a smarty pants. Anyway they think all my kids are wonderful kids and I must be a fantastic mom.. I got them fooled! =) OK here are the pics

He is very excited about getting that backpack lol.
Is what i hear from Evan everytime we walk outside. (even at 8 am) But they arent. It is just the smoke and ash in the sky. Its bad here today. You can see all the ash floating about. It is really hazy and heavy and moist. Poor kids want to go outside but they can't. Course even without the smoke itd be too hot. Only 112 today. Heres a pic of my street.

has anyone looked at the forecast??? Its going to be 111! 106 today 111 tom 111 wednesday 110 thursday... Great huh.. Anyway we had a fantastic time Friday visiting with Family. Then we watched fireworks with our neighbor. Saturday after i got deserted by everyone. I went out and bagged up all the rock. Yeah. Then Sunday we went to work with Kenny. After we got home he took a nap and I snuck outside and loaded all but 2 of hte bags into his truck. I didnt want him doing it in the am and getting dirty before work. Last night leila vomited half the night. I think I mixed her cereal wrong. Poor thing. Today I went out and bagged all the nasty stinky plums from under the tree. and came across a dead bird.. gag. Hosed it all off and my yard no longer smells like a wine factory. We need to cap off or fix a sprinkler line (that went to the plants that were where outr paio is going. then fix the broken solenoid thingy, level weed paper sand and lay the patio.. whoohooo Must go get Cay from his first day of preschool. He is loving it.. Pics to follow. Byeeee
